The building was specifically designed to meet the requirements of the inland revenue department (NZ) who committed to a large portion of the building, with Tauranga City Council taking a lease over the balance of the building. Sanctuary helped establish the NZ-based chain of restaurants known as Valentine’s in QLD, completing 4 design-and-construct buildings for the chain in Kenmore, Mt Gravatt, Browns Plains and on the Gold Coast. Valentine’s entered into long term leases on all of these properties and on completion they were on-sold to investors.
